This past summer, I took a step back from work for a couple of months. With some personal stuff going on, for our family (I'm a mama of two) it made sense for me to push pause on my art business.

Creating, for me, is as necessary as eating or sleeping. When August rolled around, getting into my studio, once the kids went back to school, was about more than just picking up my paint brushes.

It felt like I had been holding my breath and I could finally breathe again. Hallelujah.

There was a new energy to my work too.

Taking a break helped me see what I do in a fresh way, fostering a deeper understanding of my own creative journey.

For as far back as I can remember, I have drawn and painted flowers.

This is the power of art.

I didn’t plan most of this collection. Surrendering to the process, I let each flower embody its own raw, untamed energy.

Looking at the work, there's a wildness that I can see only now, as I take in each finished piece.

These aren’t soft, delicate flowers.

They’re unapologetically bold. Beautiful with a strength rooted in authenticity.

I hope that when others look at this collection, they too feel their own wildness.

A visual testament to my own path, this isn't just a set of paintings. It's a daring expression of resilience, of claiming ALL of me (both my light and my shadows).

These flowers represent the empowered choice to be exactly who I am--who YOU are--untamed and without apology.
